Penang, 5th February 2022 – Boon Siew Honda introduces a fresh look for its ever-popular Honda BeAT with latest colour and stripes, based on the Stylish Sport and Modern elements. With new outlook, Honda BeAT will continue catering for the trendy lifestyle of youth along with proving a reliable means of transport.
Honda BeAT is powered by an eSP (enhanced Smart Power) engine with a PGM-FI combustion system which produces a maximum power of 6.47 kW @7,500 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 9.53 Nm @6000 rpm. This eSP engine is Euro 4 compliant and meets Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) standards with a fuel consumption of 59.1 km/litre (WMTC test mode).
The model comes with great riding comfort, due to its innovative enhanced Smart Architecture Frame (eSAF) that is agile, easy to control and provides a greater space utilisation resulting in a large 4.2ℓ fuel tank & 11.7ℓ storage capacity under the seat.
BeAT continues to feature the Combi Brake System (CBS) – engaged using the rear brake lever, which combines the front and rear brakes and distributes pressure optimally between them to achieve desired braking distance. The model also continues other features like LED headlights, parking brake lock for safe starting or parking and the Side Stand Switch which automatically stops the engine when the side stand is lowered.
The trendy scooter now comes in four new colour options namely Clipper Yellow, Pearl Magellanic Black, Vivacity Red and Pearl Nightfall Blue.
