Kempen Memanggil Semula Fuel Pump Fuel Pressure Drops
As a precautionary measure, Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. will be carrying out a recall campaign to replace the Fuel Pump for affected Honda models due fuel regulator unable to relieve excessive pressure built-up causing fuel supply restriction to engine.
The campaign is to ensure that our customers will continue to enjoy the product to its fullest intended purpose.
The affected Chassis Number are as follows:

Kindly refer to your vehicle registration card issued by JPJ as indicated in the picture below;

Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd.(BSH) will ensure that all units involved in this recall campaign will be thoroughly inspected and the affected parts will be replaced accordingly if necessary.

When does the safety measure recall campaign start?
This campaign will begin from 25th August 2023.
Which are the affected models?
Honda CBR600RR.
Which part is affected?
Fuel Pump.
What are the defects?
Fuel pump vapor unable to release from fuel pressure regulator causing fuel flow restriction.
What are the hazards?
Motorcycle might stall while riding.
Why is this recall necessary?
The recall plan is to ensure that the Fuel Pump will not fail in the future.
What is the improvement action?
Replace affected part with new and improved Fuel Pump.
How long does it take for part replacement?
It takes approximately one (1) hours and five (5) minutes to replace the new part (the duration may vary based on technician availability).
How much does it cost?
This campaign is free of charge (FOC) for the affected units.

If you are the first owner, you will receive call or Customer Notification Letter from Boon Siew Honda’s Authorized Dealers.
